Turley's 2023 Juvenile is a bold, juicy, and exuberantly expressive Zinfandel. It captures the energy of bright red and blue fruit, warm spice, and lively structure. It's immediately approachable but also has enough backbone to evolve over the medium term.
Aromatically, the wine has a nose full of juicy dark cherries, blackberries, just-ripened raspberries, and some savory Thanksgiving spices. On the palate, there are notes of salty dried meats as well as brambly fruits paired with silken tannins.
