Trapiche Finca Laborde Cabernet

This comes from an old pergola planted in the 1960s beside the Tunuyán River in La Consulta. The soil is very rocky and the yields are very low, with small clusters that give rise to very concentrated wines. And lots of concentration equals lots of flavor in this cabernet with delicious varietal expression.It’s full of red fruit and herbs, with firm, tense tannins for body. Tremendous power and balance at the same time."
