Quintessa Napa Red 2016

This is as classic of a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon as one will find. Blackberry, plum, dusty tannins from oak aging and some herbs. Further flavors of leather, earth, and a long balanced finish. The fruit is ripe, but it is almost coy as some of the earthy vineyard notes take center-stage.The 2016 vintage was stellar and this has been getting great reviews from some of the major wine publications. Truly a classic expression of everything Napa has to offer.
