Pungent aromas of wood toast and firm reduction completely overshadow the fruit. Much more interesting are the concentrated and sappy medium-bodied flavors that possess an even finer mouthfeel as well as a subtle bead of minerality that adds a sense of lift to the plump but punchy finale. This is also very good for its level and a wine that could be enjoyed young or with 5 to 8 years of cellaring.
