The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon Reserve is a 225-case effort blended from several locations in Napa Valley. Bold cassis fruit comes in waves, backed by ample vanilla notes. It's full-bodied, rich and velvety, but it seems to lose a bit of momentum on the finish, the flavors falling away before the lasting warmth of elevated alcohol. Drink it young, before the fruit fades.
