Lobos Joven Tequila

Cultivated from 100% Blue Weber agave, harvested after a minimum of six years until peak ripeness, the distillate Blanco tequila is mixed with a measure of Lobos 1707 Tequila, Reposado, and then carbon-filtered. The resulting liquid is finished in the brand's historic PX wine barrels using the solera method.Fresh and Bright Agave. Teeny tiny sweet. Flavor also, cooked agave, but round, ‘soft’ and a teeny tiny sweet. Fantastic oily mouth feel. Very smooth, but long finish. I would absolutely recommend and I think it’s a solid value for a high quality Joven. Clearly premium price, but not stupid by any means.
