Part of the beauty of our Napa and Russian River Chardonnays is in the identical winemaking philosophy with the only variance being the source of the fruit. The freckled, golden grapes are harvested while they still retain acidity, and then the wine undergoes fermentation in French oak barrels. Our Chardonnay Napa Valley is classic in style but distinct in flavor. Rich and lush, this Chardonnay is crafted to be a bold expression of Napa’s terroir.

The 2023 growing season was one of the longest of the past decade. Marked by a long stretch of mild and consistently sunny weather, this extended season promoted even ripening with a unique complexity specific to the vintage. Our team waited to begin harvesting until the end of September and picked our last fruit in the second week of November, providing prolonged hang time for the grapes to develop maximal flavors.
