The 2019 vintage of G d’Estournel overcame extreme weather and less rain, benefiting from the age and deep roots of its vines, enhanced ploughing, and the fresh air from the nearby Gironde Estuary. This vintage delivers a vivacious and balanced profile, combining freshness and richness with a vigorous yet discreet character. It is vibrant, with peppery notes and a long, silky finish. The nose features blackcurrant and violet, complemented by aromas of eucalyptus, thyme, and rosemary.
