In the spirit of American craftsmanship, this unique Cabernet Sauvignon represents the bold, American tradition of aging in charred bourbon barrels. Sourced from Lodi in California, The Federalist Bourbon Barrel-Aged Cabernet Sauvignon intertwines bold fruit with rich, toasted vanilla and spice notes to deliver great flavor with every bottle.

Customers praised this Cabernet for its character, describing it as "smoky with medium tannins and nice blueberry flavors." Many found it a "great value" at sale price. However, some reported issues with corks breaking apart during opening, requiring straining.

a great value

The sale price really made this one a great value. A pretty good Cab even at the full price. Plenty of character, with pleasant soft tannins.

bad corks

Wine is good- The corks break off in pieces- takes a bit to open then I either strain the wine or drink pieces of cork.
