The Loch Lomond The Open Special 2024 is a limited edition single malt whisky from the Scottish Highlands. The distillery released it to mark its partnership with the golf championship “The Open” and the 152nd tournament at the Royal Troon Golf Club. The whisky consists of a blend of four different malts and, after its initial maturation in American oak, was allowed to mature in selected first fill Chardonnay white wine barrels. The distillery bottled it at an alcohol content of 46.0 percent by volume. It also contains no coloring and is not chill-filtered.
