Michel commented that he’d made his best wines ever in 2016, and certainly the quality of the 2016 Côtes du Rhône Cercius, as well as the entire lineup, back up that statement. A blend of 85% Grenache and 15% Syrah that sells for a song, it offers outstanding notes of blackberries, black raspberries, violets and peppery garrigue in its rounded, sweetly fruit, incredibly satisfying profile. It’s another winner more than worth checking out.
