The 2019 Marjosse Rouge is medium to deep garnet-purple in color. It rolls easily out of the glass with expressive notes of raspberry coulis, wild blueberries, and boysenberries, plus suggestions of clove oil, garrigue, and crushed rocks. Medium to full-bodied, the palate is taut and muscular, delivering intense black fruit and savory layers with a firm backbone of fine-grained tannins, finishing long and refreshing.
