Hard work and total focus on quality have made Montes one of Chile's most successful and respected quality-driven wineries as they continue pioneering and breaking new ground in wine.A ripe and brooding Syrah shows a good depth of blackberries, ripe dark cherries and violets, a refined, spicy edge, and a savoury, balsamic character. Concentrated and rich, but still well-drinkable. The full-bodied palate is saturated with dusty tannins that seamlessly knit the palate, rendering a broad but cohesive mouth feel.
