Le Lion de La Fleur de Bouard 2020

The 2020 Le Lion La Fleur de Boijard is a soft, easygoing wine to drink now and over the next few years. Dark cherry, dried herbs, mocha, dried herbs and crushed flowers open nicely in this attractive, soft Lalande-de-Pomerol. The 50% Cabernet Franc adds a light vegetal character that is not too intrusive, but that is present.Ripe black cherries, dried flowers, black olives and cloves on the nose. It is medium-bodied with firm, silky tannins and a juicy, flavorful finish.
