Siesta Key Coffee Rum

This is a Coffee Rum (not to be confused with coffee liqueur).  We make our Coffee Rum with real Colombian coffee beans, and it is kept at 70 proof. We do not use any liquid flavors, liquid coffee, or concentrates.

When we first started experimenting with our coffee rum, we tried different methods. We knew before even trying that we would not use coffee flavoring or concentrate. That is not how we do things. We tried using fresh liquid coffee. While the flavor was ok, it was too watered down.

In the end, the only way we could get full coffee flavor was by making the coffee rum in a similar way to making a quality cold brew coffee.

Siesta Key Coffee Rum does have caffeine, although it is in small quantities. You would have to drink a lot of rum to get even a cup's worth of caffeine.
