Chateau La Cardonne

This really does show just how fabulous the southern Medoc area was in 2015: it just begs for enjoyment. It has that signature purity of fruit that Caroline Frey has perfected, coupled with a long finish that ends crisply and cleanly.Deep garnet red, with purple highlights. The bouquet mingles black fruits (blueberry, blackberry), spices and perfectly integrated wood. The palate is rich, round and fresh. Impressive and yet fine tannins, very promising. A long finish with vanilla aroma.
