Chateau LA CARDONNE is vinified in an elegant fruit-forward style, with ripe blackcurrant and plum fruit, balanced by a rich, medium to full-bodied palate, with cedar, pencil-shaving character, and smooth silky tannins. Deep garnet red, with purple highlights. The bouquet mingles black fruits (blueberry, blackberry), spices, and perfectly integrated wood. The palate is rich, round, and fresh. It offers attractive blackberry, briar, cedar and light marine aromas on a well-defined nose that is very focused and intense. The fresh, vibrant palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, well-pitched acidity and an almost citrus-like finish. Very harmonious and silky-smooth in texture.
