Lagunitas Shugga Special Ale

A little miscommunication, a lot of ingenuity... and what you get is a curious mistake resulting in an unexpected new beer style. We're using the original happy accident recipe- brewed with all the brow shugga' our vats can handle but surprisingly not sweet, thanks to the magic of science, what's left is a rich, caramelly flavor anf finsih that'll stick around until someone realizes this was all a clerical error!

Garnet in color and crowned with tan colored foam, a beguiling mixture of aromas rises from the glass, with notes of dried plum and dark muscovado sugar giving way to dank cannabis and grapefruit zest. Lusciously full-bodied, it envelops the palate with flavors of caramel and fig, followed by notes of cocoa, orange, and vanilla. The finish delivers a rich toffee character that fades into bittersweet marmalade and grapefruit peel.
