From the Valtellina Superiore appellation in the Lombardy region of Italy, close to the border of Switzerland. Casimiro Maule was named “Winemaker of the Year” by the esteemed food and wine publication Gambero Rosso. Bright garnet hue with ruby highlights. Pronounced, fruity nose of blackberry, woody licorice, and spicy notes reminiscent of bay leaf and juniper. Dry and flavorsome on the palate with elegant, velvety tannins.
