Intense, deep ruby red with garnet highlights. Sweet red fruit (strawberry, cherry) and licorice aromas blend harmonically with the smoky, toasty, balsamic notes characteristic of good French oak. There is just a slight hint of earthy, mineral back notes. Crisp, round and supple, with a good acidity and a long aftertaste. Nicely balanced.
